HOW TO ANIMATE TEXTS AND OBJECTS IN POWERPOINT
Microsoft PowerPoint empowers you to create slideshow presentations and allows creation of multimedia slides that will give you a powerful presentation. In PowerPoint, you can animate texts and objects like clip art, shapes, and pictures. Animation on the slide can be used to draw the audience’s attention to specific content or to make the slide easier to read.
1. Open your PowerPoint application via a laptop or personal computer.
2. After that, open the presentation you want to work on.
3. Next, select the object or text you want to animate.
4. Then, on the Animations tab, click the More drop-down arrow in the Animation group.
5. A drop-down menu of animation effects will appear. Select the desired effect.
6. The effect will apply to the object. The object will have a small number next to it to show that it has an animation.
7. If you want to place more than one animation on an object, like Entrance and Exit effects, you’ll need to use the Add Animation command, which will allow you to keep your current animations while adding new ones.
8. You can control which direction the object comes from. These options can be accessed from the Effect Options command in the Animation group.

We need to use Add Animation command because ….
I. the menu will replace unwanted current animation
II. multiple animations can be applied to any texts or objects
III. it can bring out the access to choose other animation effects
IV. it will allow us to add other animations and keep the existing one
